Homecare and Hospice

In 2009 Bowman Bowman Novick contracted with SMH Consultants for completion of the site improvements associated with the Homecare and Hospice facility in Manhattan, Kansas.  This work included the designs for parking lot, water main, sanitary sewer main, grading, and retaining wall features associated with the site.  The project, located in Manhattan’s only master planned development; Grand Mere, compliments the Grand Mere character well and includes iconic features designed by SMH such as a limestone retaining walls and preservation of existing trees and natural vegetation around the facilities perimeter.  SMH was able to work closely with Grand Mere officials, representatives of Homecare and Hospice, and the remainder of the design team to create a fantastic natural setting for people going through very difficult times.
