SMH Consultants began in 1989 as Sloan and Meier Surveyors. The original founders of the company saw a need and opportunity to provide high-quality professional land surveying services to a variety of clients. The company only offered land surveying services and eventually expanded into civil engineering services related to water resources, environmental engineering, transportation engineering, and land development in 2007. Since then, additional services have been added to the company in the areas of airport engineering, construction engineering, landscape architecture, and land acquisition.
