Cox Brothers BBQ

In 2008 SMH Consultants was selected by Cox Brothers Barbecue to prepare site development plans for the charter Cox Brothers Barbecue Restaurant in Manhattan, KS.  This project involved preparing site, grading, and utility plans for the proposed restaurant.  In addition to typical site design services SMH Consultants also prepared a Final Development Plan for the site as required by Manhattan Zoning Regulations, since the property was zoned Planned Unit Development (PUD).  Lastly, SMH Consultants also prepared a flood emergency evacuation plan for the basement of the structure and addressed all necessary floodplain development permit application requirements through the City of Manhattan and the Kansas State Department of Agriculture Division of Water Resources.
