SMH CONSULTANTS (SMH) is a twenty-six year-old engineering and land surveying company located in Manhattan, Kansas with a satellite office in Dodge City, Kansas.
Historically the company's greatest experience has been:

SMH can perform all types of land development projects, infrastructure design, and land surveys from boundary surveys to the most complex subdivision and facility projects.
The company's services in regards to civil engineering are:

- water supply, treatment and distribution
- sanitary sewer collection, pumping and treatment
- storm sewer facilities
- utility coordination
- project management
- construction observation
- materials testing.
To help in delivering both land surveying and civil engineering services SMH employs twenty-five full-time employees and one to two part-time employees.
Key personnel include Timothy Sloan, a registered land surveyor in the state of Kansas, with a total of over 40 years of land surveying experience and civil engineer, Jeff Hancock, who joined SMH in 2007. Prior to joining SMH, Jeff was Director of Public Works for the City of Manhattan, Kansas. Todd Anderson joined SMH in 2009. Todd has over 20 years ofexperience in civil engineering and municipal public works. Mr. Anderson has a broad background in municipal water andwastewater projects, urban arterial and highway design, and project management.
SMH serves clients from two different office locations, one in Manhattan, Kansas and another in Dodge City, Kansas. Annually SMH provides services across the State of Kansas in addition to northern Oklahoma. SMH employees have worked in nearlyevery county in the State of Kansas. SMH goes where our clients need us.
